vjt · 07/07/2001 00:59 · #1spiega le basi e il funzionamento sia di una rete irc sia del protocollo irc. descrive i comandi che un server irc deve implementare per essere rfc compliant, il metodo di link tra piu' server (hubbing e leafing), l'astrazione del "canale" ed i mode standard per utenti e per il "canale" stesso ed i tipi di messaggi inviabili. ognuno ha un "numeric" che il server deve inviare assieme al messaggio al client irc, il quale per essere anch'esso rfc compliant deve saper interpretare e poi compiere le azioni per cui e' creato (anche un egg e' un client irc).
